Stephanotis floribunda is from Madagascar. In the wild this species grows in open and dense forests where it is a climbing liana. Plants can reach lengths of 6-10 metres, potentially even more. Inflorescences produce solitary to small clusters of highly scented flowers which each measure 3-4 cm. measure up to 15 cm and bear 4-15 that measure 7 cm across. Plants mostly bloom from summer to autumn.

 

This plant is flowering size and is growing in a pot. Grow Stephanotis floribunda in a pot with a mossy pole, or in a basket. Use a media consisting of perlite, soil, mulch and mixed medium and fine bark. Grow plants in moderate light, and never direct sunlight. Plants do not like to dry out and need good quality water. This plant grows well in an intermediate to warm greenhouse and appreciates night-time temperatures of 15 to 23 degrees and daytime temperatures of 23 to 28 degrees. Plants grow well indoors, will grow large over time and will flower when given sufficient light.
