Procris repens, conspecific with Pellionia repens, thrives in the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. This creeping beauty is found amongst lush forests and hillsides, particularly in countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia.

Procris repens, also known as Pellionia repens, is a captivating plant with trailing vines and eye-catching foliage. The leaves of Procris repens have toothed margins, measuring 2.5 to 10 cm in length and 2 to 5 cm in width. They exhibit a distinctive pattern reminiscent of watermelon rinds or the foliage of certain Begonia species, although the patterns and leaf shape vary. As they age, the leaves may transition to a beautiful purple or brown hue, adding an intriguing dimension to the plant's aesthetic.

Care Instructions:

Procris repens thrives in indirect, bright light and well-draining soil. Water it moderately, allowing the top part of the substrate to dry between waterings. Maintain a temperature range of 20-28 degrees during the day and 15-20 degrees at night for optimal growth. This low-maintenance plant is ideal for enthusiasts of all levels, introducing a tropical flair to your living space. When given ultimate growing conditions, plants will grow well in your greenhouse, terrarium, paludarium or on a windowsill.
