Description and Key Features:
Litchi chinensis has been in cultivation as long as the 11th century, and is widely grown in Asia. Plants reach highs of 15-28 metres in the wild but are much less in cultivation. These plants are growing in pots and ready to be transplanted into a bigger pot where they will thrive when given suitable conditions.
Care Instructions:
Grow Litchi chinensis in a large pot to allow it to grow, use a media with a blend of soil, fine bar, charcoal and perlite. Keep plants well-watered and provide air circulation especially in humidity above 70%. Provide moderate to bright light and feed for growth, water lightly daily to mimic natural moisture conditions increasing in frequency during warmer weather and maintain an intermediate or warm environment with night temperatures of 10-21 degrees and daytime temperatures of 19-31 degrees.
