Hoya curtisii is a species from the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand. In the wild this species grows as an epiphyte in open forest or as a lithophyte. Information about the species ecology is scarce. Inflorescences are short, bear a cluster of flowers. The flowers are small and scented.
Grow Hoya curtisii in a pot with a fine bark and perlite media or on a mount. If growing on a mount indoors, place the mount so that it stands in a pot of moss and soaks up moisture. Grow your plant in moderate shade, never in direct sunlight. Give your plant plenty of water and don’t let it dry out. This plant grows well in a warm greenhouse and appreciates night-time temperatures of 18-26 degrees and day temperatures of 27 to 32 degrees. If growing this species indoors, your plant will need warmth, good light, and humidity to flower.
