Dendrochilum pulcherrimum is a species endemic to the Philippines. In the wild this species grows as an epiphyte in cloud forest at elevations between 1,750 and 1,830 metres. Inflorescences measure 5-10 cm, bears up to 50 small flowers that each measure about 8 mm across. Plants usually bloom during the spring.
These are flowering size plants and are growing in pots. Grow Dendrochilum pulcherrimum on a mount, in a pot or in a basket with a sphagnum moss bark mix media. Give your plant moderate to bright light, never direct sunlight and give it a lot of water year-round. Plants grow well in an intermediate greenhouse and appreciate night-time temperatures of 14-17 degrees and day temperatures of 24 to 28 degrees. This species likes a distinct difference between day and night temperature and cool misty air.
