Dendrochilum convallariaeforme is from the Philippines. In the wild this species grows in a variety of forest types at elevations between 300 and 2,000 metres. Inflorescences measure 15-35 cm, and bear 30-40 small flowers that measures about 1 cm across. Plants usually bloom during the autumn, winter, or spring.
These are flowering size plants and are growing in pots. Grow Dendrochilum convallariaeforme on a mount, in a pot or in a basket with a sphagnum moss bark mix media. Give your plant moderate to bright light, never direct sunlight and give it less water than most other Dendrochilum. This species prefers drying slightly in between watering. Plants grow well in an intermediate to warm greenhouse and appreciate night-time temperatures of 14-22 degrees and day temperatures of 24 to 32 degrees. This species likes a distinct difference between day and night temperature and cool misty air.
