This species thrives in warm, humid environments, often found in the shaded understory of forests or in open, sunny areas with partial shade. It is widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical gardens for its bright flowers and is also a popular indoor plant in temperate regions.
Description:
Crossandra infundibuliformis is a compact, bushy shrub known for its vibrant, funnel-shaped orange flowers that can also bloom in shades of red, or yellow. The flowers are arranged in dense, cylindrical spikes, creating a stunning display that lasts throughout much of the year. Its glossy, dark green leaves provide a lush backdrop to the striking flowers, enhancing its overall beauty. The glossiness of the leaves varies depending on the amount of darkness the plant is grown in.
