Bulbophyllum sanguineopunctatum is an easy to grow species from Laos and Thailand. This species inhabits evergreen rainforests at elevations around 500 metres. Inflorescences measure 15-20 cm and produce many flowers that hang gracefully on a semi-umbel, the flowers measure 5-6 cm long.
 
This is a flowering size plant and is growing on a mount. Grow Bulbophyllum sanguineopunctatum in a pot with a fine bark and moss media or on a mount, in moderate to deep shade and never in direct or bright sunlight. We never let this plant dry out. This species grows well in an intermediate to warm greenhouse and needs night-time temperatures of 17 - 21 degrees and daytime temperatures of 26 to 32 degrees. This species can be grown easily indoors if given suitable conditions.
