Bulbophyllum lasioglossum is endemic to the Philippines. In the wild this species grows as an epiphyte in submontane forest and hill forest at elevations around 1,000 metres. Inflorescence measure up to 15-30cm and bears 20-40 flowers. Plants bloom during the spring.
This is a flowering size plant growing in a pot. Bulbophyllum lasioglossum will do very well on a mount, or it can be grown in a pot with moss and a medium/fine bark mix. It requires moderate light, but it should never be exposed to direct sunlight. This Bulbophyllum should be always kept wet, all year round. This species requires an intermediate or warm greenhouse and with night-time temperatures of 15°C - 18°C and daytime temperatures of 26°C to 30°C degrees. It's mostly suitable for a greenhouse but it can be grown and potentially flower indoors in a bright location or in a terrarium/paludarium with LED lights.
