This is a flowering size plant. Grow Dendrochilum tortile on a mount, in a pot or basket with a sphagnum moss media mixed with bark or perlite, with moderate light, never in direct sunlight and give it a lot of water. I grow my plants sitting in a small amount of water. Plants grow well in an intermediate greenhouse and appreciate night time temperatures of 14-18 degrees and day time temperatures of 24 to 30 degrees. This species likes a distinct difference between day and night temperature and cool misty air.
