This is a flowering sized plant. Grow Dracula pholeodytes in a net pot or basket and use loosely packed sphagnum moss as a media. Make sure plants get sufficient air movement particularly when grown in humidity above 80%; always ensure that humidity is high and give plants moderate to deep shade. Plants need to be grown wet; I grow my Dracula species sitting in water and I remove this particular species from water once spikes are seen. This avoids the spikes growing downwards into the water. This species grows well in a cool greenhouse or indoors in suitable conditions, including, a difference between day and night temperature, air movement and humidity.
