Dendrobium nindii is a species from New Guinea and Australia. In the wild this species inhabits swamps and mangroves at elevations from sea level to 200 metres. Inflorescences measure 40cm, emerge from the apices of canes and bear up to 25 pretty and scented flowers

This is a flowering size plant and is growing in a pot. Grow Dendrobium nindii on a mount or in a pot with a fine/medium bark media, in bright light, direct sunlight over the winter and give it a lot of water during the growing season and slightly reduced during the winter months. Increase water as new growths emerge in the spring. This plant grows well in a warm greenhouse and appreciates night time temperatures of 20-24 degrees and day time temperatures of 28 to 35 degrees. Plants can be grown indoors in suitable conditions, including very bright light.
