This is a flowering size plant and this plant is growing in a pot. Grow Dendrochilum microchilum in a pot with a fine bark and moss media, with moderate shade, never in direct or bright sunlight and give it a lot of water. I grow my plants sitting in a small amount of water. This plant grows well in an intermediate to cool greenhouse and appreciates night time temperatures of 12-18 degrees and day time temperatures of 24 to 32 degrees. If growing this species indoors, make sure that there is sufficient air movement, particularly as new growths develop. This species needs warmth, good light and humidity to flower.
