This plant is flowering size and is growing in a pot. Grow Cattleya harrisoniana in a pot, in very bright light and with a lot of water during the summer months while the plant is actively growing. This species is suited to an intermediate to warm greenhouse. Keep plants cool and humid when buds develop so that they pierce the sheath. This species is well suited for growing indoors because it likes the consistent temperatures; place the plant on a well lit windowsill and allow for a slight drop in temperature in the evenings.
