Bulbophyllum prasinoglossum is from the Philippines. This species is an epiphyte and inhabits rainforests at around 1,200 metres elevation. Pseudobulbs are tiny, and bear a solitary leaf. Leaves measure 2cm long. Inflorescences emerge from the bases of pseudobulbs, and bear small flowers noticeable by the emerald green coloured labellum.

Description

Bulbophyllum prasinoglossum is from the Philippines. This species is an epiphyte and inhabits rainforests at around 1,200 metres elevation. Pseudobulbs are tiny, and bear a solitary leaf. Leaves measure 2cm long. Inflorescences emerge from the bases of pseudobulbs, and bear small flowers noticeable by the emerald green coloured labellum.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Bulbophyllum prasinoglossum on a mount or in a pot with moss and bark. Plants need moderate shade, never direct sunlight and even watering all year. Plants grow well in an intermediate greenhouse or indoors with a difference between day and night temperatures, high humidity and air movement.
