Description

Miltonia regnellii is endemic to Brazil. In the wild this species inhabits Atlantic coastal forest from 300 - 800 metres. Inflorescences measure 30-40cm and bear successively opening 3-5 flowers. Plants bloom in the spring and flowers measure 6cm across.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Miltonia regnellii in a pot with bark, in moderate shade to bright light and keep it well watered all year. This species should have enough light to make the leaves slightly yellow. This species is suited to a warm greenhouse. If growing this species indoors make sure that there is enough humidity, temperatures are always above 16 degrees and that air circulation is sufficient.
