Description

Kefersteinia mystacina is from Panama, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. In the wild this species grows in lowland forest at elevations around 300 metres. Inflorescences measure 30cm and bear solitary flowers that measure 4cm across. Plants usually bloom during the winter and spring.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Kefersteinia mystacina in a pot with moss and bark, in deep shade, and keep it evenly watered year round, although not waterlogged as its cousins Pescatorea and Huntleya. Grow in a warm greenhouse, and indoors only with sufficient humidity and air circulation.
