Oncidium lindleyoides is a species found in Venezuela, Columbia and Ecuador. In the wild this species inhabits upper montane forest as an epiphyte or terrestrial at 1,500-2,700 metres. The inflorescence measures 35cm and bears 5-10 flowers that measure 5cm across. The plant blooms during spring to summer and the flowers are scented.

Description

The inflorescence measures 35cm and bears 5-10 flowers that measure 5cm across. The plant blooms during spring to summer and the flowers are scented.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Oncidium lindleyoides in a pot, in shade, never in direct or bright sunlight and keep it slightly and evenly moist with the roots cool. This plant will grow well in a cool greenhouse and indoors only with air circulation and a difference between day and night temperatures (night time temperatures should be 10-12 degrees).
