Description

Masdevallia chimboensis is from Columbia. In the wild this species inhabits lowland forests at elevations around 100 metres. Each inflorescence measures 4-5cm, emerges from ramicauls and bears a solitary flower that measures 1cm. Plants bloom during the spring months.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Masdevallia chimboensis in a small pot with sphagnum moss, in shade, never in direct sunlight and keep it evenly moist all year. This plant grows well in a warm greenhouse and will grow indoors if air circulation is constant and humidity is high.
