Lepanthes gargoyla

Lepanthes gargoyla is a species from Ecuador. In the wild this species inhabits mountain cloud forest at 900-1,300 metres. The inflorescences measure 4.5cm and bear many successively opening flowers, once the plant starts flowering it can be in flower for a very long time. The plant blooms during spring.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Lepanthes gargoyla on a mount or in a small netted pot, in shade, never in direct sunlight and keep it evenly moist. This plant grows well in a intermediate to cool greenhouse and can be grown indoors if temperatures do not exceed 24 degrees and night time temperatures are low.
