Description

Oncidium ghiesbreghtianum is a species endemic to Mexico. This species inhabits seasonal mountain rainforests at elevations between 1,400 and 2,200 metres. Inflorescences measure 15-20cm and bear around 10 flowers that measure 3cm across. Plants bloom during the spring.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Oncidium ghiesbreghtianum in a pot with bark media, in moderate light, never in direct or bright sunlight and keep it evenly moist during the warmer months. This plant will grow well in a cool to intermediate greenhouse and indoors only with air circulation, humidity and a difference between day and night temperatures (night time temperatures should be 12-14 degrees).
