Description

Masdevallia medusa is from Columbia. In the wild this species inhabits wet mountain cloud forest at elevations between 2,800 and 3,360 metres. Each inflorescence measures 5-10cm, emerge from ramicauls and bear 2-5 flowers that each measures 3cm. Plants bloom during the winter months.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Masdevallia medusa in a small pot with sphagnum moss, in shade, never in direct sunlight and keep it evenly moist all year. This plant grows well in a cool to cold greenhouse and can be grown indoors if air circulation is constant, humidity is very high, and night time temperatures are low.
