Description

Masdevallia ludibunda is from Columbia. In the wild this species inhabits wet mountain cloud forest at elevations around 2,100 metres. Each inflorescence measures 5-10cm, emerges from the ramicauls and bears a solitary flower that measures 2cm. The plant blooms during the spring months.

This plant is flowering size. Grow Masdevallia ludibunda in a small pot with moss, in moderate shade, never in direct sunlight and keep it evenly moist. This plant grows well in a cool greenhouse and can be grown indoors if air circulation is constant, the humidity is very high, and night time temperatures are low.
