Grammangis ellisii is from Madagascar. Inflorescence measures 60-90cm and bear many flowers that measure 7-8cm across. Plants flower during the spring and into summer and the flowers are scented.

This plant is near flowering size. Grow Grammangis ellisii in a pot with a fine to medium bark media. Plants need to be grown wet during the active growing season and drier while resting during the winter months. Plants need more orchid feed than the average genus and require moderate to bright light. Grow plants in a greenhouse with day time temperatures of 26-33 degrees and a night t ime temperature range of 16-23 degrees. Plants will grow indorrs if temperature and light meet requirements.
