Gastrochilus bellinus

Gastrochilus bellinus is a species from Laos, Myanmar, China and Thailand. In the wild this species inhabits dark broad leaved forests and as an epiphyte at elevations between 600 and 900 metres. Inflorescences measure 5cm and bear a few fragrant flowers during the autumn. 

This plant is flowering size. Grow Gastrochilus bellinus on a mount and in moderate to deep shade. Keep plants evenly moist during the warmer months and allow to dry in between watering during the colder months. This species requires an intermediate to warm greenhouse and will grow indoors if it is given cooler night time temperatures and sufficient humidity.
